Late Update: (April 14) For logistical reasons we have changed this trip to begin and end in Elkins rather than Cass.  We will ride a bus from Elkins to Cass and return to Elkins via steam and vintage diesel trains.  For ticketholders already planning to stay in Cass we will also provide return transportation to Cass after the train arrives in Elkins.  If you have any questions please contact Bob Hoke at 1-866-795-2607 (toll-free) or bob@rhoke.net.

We apologize for the limited number of available tickets, but the seating capacity on these trips is only 100 and equipment limitations make it impossible to increase it.  Demand for Inaugural tickets far exceeded our expectations and we were not prepared for rush of early orders.  We also apologize for the confusion about the starting date for ticket sales.

 However,  we have arranged for another trip, this time going from Cass to Elkins, on Thursday May 15.  We will leave Cass at 10 AM and be carried to Spruce behind one of Cass' geared locomotives.  We will  meet our vintage diesel train at Spruce and have several photo opportunities with both steam and diesel.  We will leave Spruce in heated passenger cars and proceed toward Elkins with at least two run-bys along the route.   An all-you-can-eat sandwich buffet will be available on the train all afternoon.

 Our train will arrive in Elkins about 6:30 PM.  We will then board motor coaches for the return trip to Cass with arrival about 8 PM.
